From the passion for true Italian Cuisine of the chefs Paulo Airaudo and Francesco Gasbarro, takes flight the idea of an high-quality restaurant with the informal feeling of the ancient Trattoria. A place that takes the word “original” and explicate it in two ways: the originality of an unique ristorante, with the taste of the true, original Italian kitchen. Our logo is essential, yet unique. It says “Italy” barely spelling it, just through the use of a formal Bodonian custom typeface. The materials used are the top-of-the-charts Fedrigoni™ Materica™ papers, in rust and limestone color. A rough hand, replicated in the essential interior of the restaurant in Geneve and in the many hand-drawn illustrations used in the project.
The logo’s essential elegance is replicated throughout the website: white space counterbalances striking food pictures, taken by photographer Alex Teuscher. The client is able, through a completely custom back-end, to update the three menus (food, wine and bar) adding and removing dishes with ease. A fully customizable event-management system is part of a complex booking procedure, made easy for both the client and the administrator. All in html5, css3 and fully responsive, the platform is also designed to be expanded or replicated when new venues will fill the La Bottega roster of restaurants.
