The Project

La Nazione is the longest running — still published — newspaper in Italy. With a story spanning three Centuries, the dream dreamt by founder Bettino Ricasoli of a Nation United is still in effect.

Following the publication for the 150th Anniversary, this edition aimed at being lighter but still impactful. The last decade, full like never before of astonishing news, is the final three chapters of an ongoing history.

The graphic design needed a complete overhaul from the heritage-driven version of 2009. Colors and typography, as well as composition, act as new player in a ancient theater — with full respect to what’s been and a glance towards what will be.
